U-13Div1 – Corkbeg 6 Crosshaven 0
 
Corkbeg finish Season Strong.
 
The U13 League Campaign has been completed and a convincing performance ensured the boys headed home happy.
 
 
A sluggish start saw both teams struggle early. After the water break, Corkbeg injected some much needed pace to proceedings and a goal quickly followed from Tristin Ward to leave the half time score 1-0.
 
 
Cormac Crowley and Ewen Forbes came on and their good play ensured a positive start for the second half. A brace of goals quickly followed from Josh McCarthy and Cillian Scanlon to put day light between the teams.
 
 
Cian Moore and Tom Walsh were now dominant at the back with Adam Lewis putting in great tackles.
 
 
Corkbeg continued to push forward and Josh McCarthy completed his hat trick with 2 quickfire goals after good play from the midfield. Cillian Burke and David Kelly were lively all through on the wings.
 
 
Sam McAllister was called on to make a couple of speculative shots from Crosshaven to keep the clean sheet.
 
 
Jack Mulcahy and Aesa Murphy continued their impressive form in the midfield as Tristin Ward completed the scoring from outside the box.
