Last match of the season today after a tough and difficult season, but similar to every game this season, they gave it their all in a thriller away to Everton, losing out to a late goal.

With only 11 players and going 2-0 down after 10 mins , the lads had a right go and were level 3 -3 at the break with the goals from Niall Kirrane (2) and Evan Crowley (pictured).

Despite going 4-3 down early in the second half, the lads got back into it with a deflected effort from Ryan Murray and despite a couple of good chances, tiredness set in towards the end and we conceded close to full time to narrowly lose out.

A great effort from all the boys, but special mention to Jake Douglas, who was outstanding at centre half and the 2 lads in the middle today, Niall and Evan.

Well done to the lads for seeing the season out with such a committed effort. Well done to Deccie and the management team for keeping the lads motivated despite the results. Upwards and onwards at a lower division next term at U-14 level.
