Schoolboys Round Up w/e 4th Sept

Schoolboys Round Up:
 
Corkbeg U-14s drew 3-3 with Fermoy in Whitegate on Sunday morning. Goals from Jake Morrissey, Hugh O Lionsigh & Liam Barry had Corkbeg three goals up after 20 minutes. But, a really good Fermoy side fought back to grab a share of the spoils.

Corkbeg U-12s played their first ever competitive league game on Sunday morning at home to Grenagh. The lads won 4-1, with goals from Luke Hickey, Caoilfhionn O Connell, Mason Richards and Cillian Coady. Alex Kapustas 1st half penalty save was also crucial in the win.

In Carrigaline, in their first ever competitive game, our U-12’A’ team dominated the game, but found the Carrigaline goal living a charmed life. The sucker punch came late in the second half and they went down by a goal to nil.

On Thursday night,  a David Murphy goal was not enough, as the U-13 team went down 2-1 at home to an excellent Bandon team.
