Schoolboys Round-Up:
Corkbeg U-17s had an excellent 3-2 win over Youghal on Saturday afternoon. Ryan Murray, Oisin Garde and Alan Duggan were on the scoresheet in a tough, physical battle.
Corkbeg U-15s had a good 3-1 win over Fermoy, with goals from Kieran Kennedy, Josh Foley and Matthew McSweeney getting the job done in sunny Whitegate.
Corkbeg U-14s went down 2-1 away to Corinthians in Castletreasure, with Jack Mulcahy scoring a thunderous free kick. Good performances from Max & Euan at the back and Josh Mc up front.
Corkbeg U-14’A’ were beaten 5-3 by Ballincollig in the South Coast Cup, with Oscar Murphy, Matthew Warne and Lukas Smyth all on the mark for the Beg.
Tough morning for the Corkbeg U-13 team, who were beaten 6-3 in a topsy turvy game in Whitegate. Hugh O Lionsigh, Matthew Condon and Shay Rooney got the Corkbeg goals.
