In these difficult times for all football club due to the Covid guidelines, our U-15 management team came up with a great idea to keep their panel engaged and interested at a time when social distancing is so important.
The U-15 squad ran off a soccer volleyball competition over a number of weeks at our all weather surface. To add a bit of spice to the competition, the lads ensured there’d be trophies for the winners. It was a huge success and the winning team were crowned last Wednesday night; The Wizards went unbeaten throughout the tournament. The Wizards team were Conor Byrne, Craig Hayes and Ryan Murray, who beat the team of James Hurley, Callum Roberts and Jack Murray into second place.
