Corkbeg Summer Camp 2021
The Corkbeg FAI Summer Soccer Camp will take place on the week commencing 16th of August 2021.
The camp will run from Monday to Friday, from 10am to 1pm daily. The camp is run by the FAI and will be adhering to all ‘’FAI Safer Return To Play’’ protocols.
The cost for one child for the week is 70 euros, with a family discount for of 60 euros for a sibling, if you have more than one who wish to attend.
All going well, the FAI booking portal should be up and running next Thursday morning, the 3rd of June. You need to be on-the-ball and at the ready with that date, because the bookings are made on a first come, first served basis and with only 90 spaces available, you need to be quick on the draw to get a place.
This is an external booking portal and we cannot alter it or guarantee anybody a space. Once the camp is full, it’s full and no brown envelopes, sneaky backhanders, blood sacrifices or ‘’nudge, nudge, wink, wink’’ will be enough to get you in, no matter how hard you try or ask. Genuinely, we can’t. It’s an FAI external link and it’s out of our hands.
Also, be aware that on Thursday morning, that the whole country will be logging on to book summer camps in their region of Ireland. There may be queues, waiting times and a lot of puffing & blowing. The site crashed last year due to volume of people logging on; they’re hopeful & confident that this will not happen again this year, but be prepared for hardship just in case. You may have to persevere a bit. Hopefully, this won’t be the case.
And just to make it clear, you cannot book the camp right now, you need to wait until Thursday morning when the booking portal from the FAI goes live. If you do have any questions or queries, send us a message on Facebook and we’ll do our best to answer them.
We will post the link up on Facebook when the portal goes live. We don’t know the exact time just yet. In the meantime, check out the website at the link below for further details and any FAQ’s that may arise.
